ARTWORK > ILLUSTRATION

Some of the pieces here illustrated articles in Chicago Parent, a monthly magazine. They ranged from the serious to the not so—from “How Not To Raise a Racist” to “Talk the Talk: how your children can give their best presentation.” The cover illustration (in watercolor) for the July 2003 issue, which was devoted to how children learn about race, was awarded a gold medal in 2004 by Parenting Publications of America.
